Russ Orme has been working in the medium of ink and pastel pencil on red oak boards for the past 23 years, and began the mixed media of paint, pen and ink with pastel pencil on poplar boards. He attended Maryland Institute of Art for 2 years after graduating from North Caroline High School in 1964.
